Sarah Ancelle Schönfeld (*1979) forms sinuous and resonant female bodies, characterised by two gongs located in place of the breasts. Once freed of their weight, these bodies resonate with rhythms and vibrations, in a symbolic encounter between spirituality and released energy. With her work, the artist invites visitors to reflect on the condition and role of women throughout history, by means of a playful, intimate and calming installation.

In 'Tout Doux: Gong Bath', the artist activates the sculptures on view in the exhibition. During the performance, the audience is invited to let the sound waves produced by the gongs enter and travel through their bodies touching every cell.
