Brazilian artist & activist Mundano shines a light over the climate emergency worldwide in his first show in Europe entitled “Made in Brazil”. Known for his statement art, Mundano comes to Zurich, using ashes from the Amazon, residuals from mining extraction, and oil spilled in Brazilian sea coast, giving life to residuals through provocative paintings and sculptures.

In parallel to the exhibition “Made in Brazil” by contemporary Brazilian artist Mundano, who focuses on social and ambiental problematic of current Brazil, Galeria Kogan Amaro presents to the public a curious exhibition revealing for the very first time in Switzerland masterpieces from the private collection of the Kogan Amaro family. A collection that mostly consists of modern and contemporary artworks in a vast range of visual expressions will currently demonstrate its Brazilian contemporary pieces by Tunga, Hélio Oiticica, Cildo Meireles and Abraham Palatnik among others.
